Film festivals for all

Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C., founded in 1864 as the world’s first higher education institution for the Deaf and hard of hearing.

From 16 to 19 October, Gallaudet University will host the Deaf Way Film Festival, a four-day event featuring short and long films from Deaf and hard of hearing creatives. This celebration of Deaf culture is especially important at a time when the current Administration’s proposed Fiscal Year 2026 budget includes cuts to disability programs in the U.S. There is still time to attend or support this event, and you can find more information using this link.
